Dedicated to the memory of Stan
Stan passed away on Monday, 2 December. He had been deteriorating since the end of August as his Alzheimer’s worsened, and we knew he did not have long to live. In the end, he died quite suddenly but peacefully.
It is a sad time for us, and we will miss him greatly. But we are so grateful for all the love he gave us, the years of good health we shared with him, and the loving and dignified care he received over the past two and a half years he spent in Evington Care Home in Leicester. His smile, which remained throughout, brought us such joy, and we are comforted to know that he is now safe in the arms of the loving God he served.
